Ranked No. 9 heading into the CIS national championship, the StFX X-Men ran to a seventh place finish overall, pleased with a top ten showing amongst 20 teams in the 10k event hosted by Guelph University.
The X-Men cross country team are the 2015 AUS champions, running to their fifth consecutive conference title Saturday afternoon at Odell Park.
The X-Women cross country team raced on the Plains of Abraham Saturday in an interlock meet hosted by the Universite de Laval. Out of 12 teams, the StFX squad faired fifth overall.
Led by Jenna MacDonald (23:12) and Kate Scallion (23:28), who finished first and second, respectively, the Dalhousie Tigers raced to top spot in the StFX Invitational cross country meet Saturday afternoon on the StFX campus course.
The X-Women cross country team competed in their first meet of the AUS season at the DAL/SMU Invitational Saturday in Point Pleasant Park, running to a second place finish amongst six teams.
