StFX forward Tyra Meropoulis was honoured with the Brodrick Trophy as U SPORTS women’s hockey Player of the Year Wednesday night, as the national award winners were celebrated at the annual All-Canadian gala. She was also a U SPORTS first team All-Canadian, as was defense Lindsey Donovan. Goalie Jamie Johnson was named to the U SPORTS all-rookie team.

Atlantic University Sport is pleased to announce the 2019-20 AUS women's hockey all-stars and major award winners as selected by the conference's eight head coaches. Second-year StFX forward Tyra Meropoulis (Edson, Alta.) was named the AUS most valuable player, while fifth year StFX forward Lydia Schurman was honoured as the AUS top defensive player.

X-Women clinch first round playoff bye with win over Tigers

Special teams played an important role in the StFX X-Women’s 4-3 win over the Dalhousie Tigers Wednesday night at the Halifax Forum. The win also clinched a top two finish in the AUS standings for the X-Women, securing them a first round playoff bye and a berth directly into the semifinals. StFX is riding an 11-game win streak.
