Bio

Few have given more to X-Men Football than Terry Chisholm. A graduate of STFX with degrees in Arts (1977) and Education (1978), he has devoted more than three decades of service as a volunteer coach, joining the sidelines in 1988 and never leaving.

Over 36 seasons and more than 300 games, Chisholm has been a guiding force through seven X-Men conference championships and a Vanier Cup appearance. Primarily coaching the running backs - though also working with linebackers, offensive linemen, and special teams - his influence has gone far beyond the playbook. Chisholm has been a steady mentor, providing academic support through study halls, hosting countless team meals, and serving as a second father figure for generations of X-Men players.

Beloved by student-athletes and colleagues alike, he was recognized nationally in 2008 with the Gino Fracas Award as CIS Volunteer Coach of the Year. With all three of his sons having proudly worn the X-Men jersey, Chisholm’s connection to the program is both professional and deeply personal and he is celebrated for his extraordinary devotion and lasting legacy to STFX X-Men Football.
