White and Blue race at Dalhousie Invitational
X-Men and X-Women runners competed at the Dalhousie Invitational Saturday afternoon at Point Pleasant Park
Halifax, NS – Fourth year X-Men runner Luke MacDonald raced to a first place individual showing at the Dalhousie Invitational Saturday afternoon at Point Pleasant Park.
His time of 25.49 bested the field of 51 racers. As a team the X-Men placed second overall with 53 points, behind the first place Dalhousie Tigers (43) and ahead of third place UPEI (69).
Freshman X runner Thomas Dewitt cracked the top ten, coming in ninth place with a 27.12 result.
Jack MacNeil (27.230 was 12th for the X-Men, followed by Liam McCullagh (27.37) in 15th, Andrew Lupenette (27.41) in 16th and Landyn Cooke-Bithrey (29.18) in 38th.
In the women's race, the X-Women had a total of nine runner competing amongst 51 racers. They came in fourth place in the team standings with 78 points, behind Memorial (36), Dalhousie (43) and UPEI (76).
Freshman runner Feron Wallace was the top X finisher in seventh place, finishing the 8k race in a time of 31.10.
