X-Women defeated by Dalhousie

X-Women volleyball team was defeated this past Saturday at home against the Dalhousie Tigers in 3 sets.

The first set the StFX women played hard and lost 25-22. The second and third set the Tigers took control of the court and won both sets 25-19 and the match.

The X-Women had a total of 30 kills led by Katherine Ryan with 7. Jessica Roberts of StFX had a block solo during the game. Of the X-Women’s 47 digs, Michaela Vorlova claimed 13 of them. Vorlova, Ryan and Jessica Nichols lead them team with 9 points each.

X-Women next see action on the road this weekend Saturday in Acadia and Sunday in Saint Mary’s. Both game times are at 2pm.
