Getting to Know...Katherine Ryan

X-Women volleyball left side hitter Katherine Ryan is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Katherine recently completed her third year with the X-Women and is an Arts student from Halifax, NS.

What brought you to StFX?
Family ties, a great coach, and great academics.

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far?
Finishing first in the 2009-10 regular season.

What are you most looking forward to this season?
Continuing to build from last season and each game towards the banner.

Who has been the most influential person in your life (and why)?
My parents. They are great people and have given me the tools to make the most of life.

One thing I cannot live without is…?
My roommates.

My dream vacation destination is…?
Wherever my travels take me.
