Feb 7, 2008 - The X-Women volleyballers dropped a Wednesday night match 3-0 to the Saint Mary’s Huskies in Halifax. Set scores were 25-11, 25-10 and 25-21. Catherine Thornton recorded 8 kills for the X-Women in the losing effort while Allison Duggan had 4 kills and Kathleen MacDonald had 4 digs. Kristen McCulloch had 13 kills for the Huskies while Christena MacRae played well defensively with 19 digs.

The X-Women remain in 7th place in the AUS but are guaranteed a playoff birth as the host team Feb. 22-24 at StFX. They next see action at home on the weekend as they host Moncton Friday night at 6:00 pm and UNB Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at the Oland Centre.
