HALIFAX, NS - The StFX X-Women (3-4-7) wrapped up the regular season with a scoreless tie against the Dalhousie Tigers (6-3-4) Saturday afternoon at Wickwire Field.
Erin Visser (X-Women), with five saves, and Katie Morgan (Tigers), with two, earned the shutouts for their respective teams.
Bobbie Martin (Ottawa, ON) and Kristy MacGregor-Bales were players of the match for the X-Women and Tigers, respectively.
The Tigers outshot the X-Women 10-2, while also holding the edge in penalty kicks (6-2).
Visser, a freshman from Whitby, ON, had six shutouts in conference play.
First-year forward Margaux Fraser (Mississauga, ON) topped the X-Women with three goals for the AUS campaign.
The X-Women did not capture a berth in the upcoming Subway AUS Women's Soccer Championships, which will take place next weekend, hosted by the Tigers.
