Val von Muehldorfer from the STFX X-Women women's rugby team is the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, 2025.
A third-year prop from Calgary, Alta., von Muehldorfer was named Boston Pizza Player of the Game and Championship MVP Wednesday night in STFX's 33-31 victory over Acadia in the Bell AUS Women's Rugby Championship final.
She scored a pivotal second-half try and led a strong front row, helping the X-Women secure the conference title.

Frances MacLeod from the Saint Mary's Huskies women's cross country team is the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, 2025.
A first-year science student from Dartmouth, N.S., MacLeod captured gold at the Bell AUS Women's Cross Country Championship, winning the women's 8km race with a personal best time of 28:44.
Her time marked the fastest an AUS women's cross country runner has completed the championship course since the race distance was changed to 8km in 2017.
MacLeod's impressive run earned her several accolades, including AUS Athlete of the Year and AUS Rookie of the Year, as well as a place on the AUS First Team All-Star squad and the AUS All-Rookie Team.

Position: Midfielder
Hometown: Petit Rocher, N.B.

Audrey Roy from the Cape Breton CAPERS women's soccer team is the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, 2025.
A second-year midfielder from Petit Rocher, N.B., Roy was named Championship MVP of the Bell AUS Women's Soccer Championship, presented by Protocase, after leading the CAPERS to their second straight conference title.
Roy set up multiple Cape Breton goals, finishing with a three-point weekend. She had an assist on the tying goal Thursday in the CAPERS' eventual 2-1 win over the STFX X-Women in quarterfinal action.
She then assisted on both CAPERS goals Friday as the team downed the UNB REDS 2-0 to advance to the championship final.
Her strong play Sunday helped the CAPERS capture a 2-1 win over the Memorial Sea-Hawks and the AUS championship banner.

Academic program: Computer science
Jared Howse of the UNB REDS men's cross country team has been named the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, 2025.
A computer science student in his fifth year of eligibility from Red Deer, Alta., Howse captured gold at the Bell AUS Men's Cross Country Championship this past Saturday, finishing the 8km course in a time of 24:50 and leading the REDS team to their third consecutive conference title.
He was named AUS Athlete of the Year after the win, as well as an AUS First Team All-Star.

Name: Mohammed Wahdan
University: Dalhousie University

Academic program: Computer science
Mohammed Wahdan of the Dalhousie Tigers men's soccer team has been named the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26, 2025.
A third-year striker from Daraa, Syria, Wahdan was named Championship MVP of the Bell AUS Men's Soccer Championship this past weekend, leading his team to their first AUS title since 2008.
He scored an impressive four goals in two playoff games in the championship. He put the Tigers on the board in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over the host STFX X-Men.
On Championship Sunday, Wahdan managed a hat trick in Dalhousie's 3-2 overtime win over the Cape Breton CAPERS. He was named Boston Pizza Player of the Game in the win.
