X-Women too much for Huskies

Wednesday evening saw the traditional Thanksgiving weekday game under the lights at Huskies Stadium as the Saint Mary’s Huskies took on the St. Francis Xavier X-Women in AUS women’s rugby action. The U SPORTS No. 7 ranked X-Women were too much for the Huskies as they came away with a 68-7 victory.

X-Women handle Panthers 45-17

The U SPORTS No. 9 ranked STFX Women earned a measure of revenge with a 45-17 win at home against the UPEI Panthers on Sunday afternoon in Antigonish. The Panthers had bested the X-Women in the first game of the season.

X-Women fall to Axewomen

It was the sort of game you would expect from the top two teams in the AUS women's rugby conference. The Acadia Axewomen, ranked fourth in the nation, came out on top of a highly anticipated match-up with the StFX X Women by a score of 38-31. The win pushes the Axewomen to a 3-0-0 record, while the X-Women, ranked sixth in the country, are now 1-2-0.
