Samantha Morrison named AUS Female Athlete of the Week
STFX's Samantha Morrison and Acadia's Marc Boudreau named East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 23rd
Morrison returns with impact for STFX, while Boudreau leads Acadia with multi-point performances

Samantha Morrison from the U SPORTS no. 6-ranked STFX X-Women hockey team is the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23, 2025.
A first-year business student in her third year of eligibility from Glace Bay, N.S., Morrison played two strong games for the X-Women this past week as she returned to the lineup after a serious injury.
In STFX's 5-2 win over the Dalhousie Tigers Wednesday in Halifax, N.S., Morrison chipped in with two assists.
On Saturday, the X-Women defeated the Saint Mary's Huskies 3-2 in Halifax. Morrison was named Player of the Game in the win after scoring both the first goal of the game and the shootout winner. She was the only player to score in the shootout.
STFX now sits tied for first place in the conference standings with an 11-4 record.

Marc Boudreau, a forward for the U SPORTS no. 9-ranked Acadia Axemen hockey team, has been named the East Coast Lifestyle AUS Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23, 2025.
A second-year business student from Toronto, Ont., Boudreau led the Axemen to two wins this past week over Dalhousie and STFX.
In Wednesday's 4-3 home victory over the Tigers, Boudreau tallied two assists as well as the game-winning goal. He was named Third Star of the Game for his efforts.
On Saturday, Acadia downed the X-Men 4-2 in Antigonish, N.S. Boudreau managed a goal and two assists in the effort and was named First Star of the Game.
The Axemen currently sit in first place in the conference standings with an 11-2-1-2 record.
Throughout the 2025-26 season, each East Coast Lifestyle AUS Athlete of the Week will receive a $50 ECL gift card and a signed certificate, courtesy of East Coast Lifestyle and Atlantic University Sport.
