Getting to Know...Patti-Anne Tracey

X-Women hockey forward Patti-Anne is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Patti-Anne is a fourth year Business student from Antigonish, N.S.

When I am not studying or playing my sport, in my spare time I like to?
Go Hiking, Road-Biking, and Running. I love journaling, writing, reading and mindfulness. Also, I love to spend quality time with my family!

If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
Sadie Robertson who is best known for her engaging smile and energetic personality.

Sadie is an inspirational speaker, an encourager, an author, an owner of the Live Original Blog , an outspoken Christian, and has her own podcast called "Woah that's Good".  Sadie partners with numerous organizations, one being World's Vision, where she sponsored kids and restores their future.

I would love to be able to travel with not-for profit organizations to build schools for children, share my own personal journals and blogs about my university experience with students and have my own podcast just like Sadie! I also admire Sadie's family values, and would Love to meet the whole Duck Dynasty Crew!

What is one thing that annoys you?
Cell phones at a dinner table.

What is one thing you have on your 'bucket list'?
To compete in triathlons and become a triathlete.

If you could come out at the start of a game to an entrance song, what would it be?

Something interesting about my hometown is?
My hometown is 10-20 minute drive in most directions to multiple beaches and of course the ocean!

My favorite moment to date as a StFX student-athlete is?
Winning AUS in March 2020 in front of my hometown crowd and also giving the AUS trophy to Father Stanley to celebrate.
