The St. Francis Xavier X-Women improved to 10-0 on the season with a 6-0 whitewash of the St. Thomas Tommies in AUS women’s hockey action in Antigonish on Saturday.

Janelle Parent and Alex Normore each potted a pair of goals to pace St. F.X. Suzanne Fenerty and Abygail Laking added single markers.

Rookie Kristy Garrow earned the easy shutout, turning aside 16 shots. The X-Women held a 46-16 shot advantage.

Huskies 3, Panthers 1: At Alumnia Arena, Jillian MacIsaac turned aside 25 shots and lifted host Saint Mary’s to a win over UPEI.

Maggie Poliseno, Joanie Dubois and Lauren McCusker each scored for SMU.

Mounties 3, Tigers 0: At Dalhousie Memorial Arena, Mount Allison goalie Jenelle Hulan made 26 saves, half of them in the third period, in a road shutout over Dal.
