X-Women Defeat Mount Allison and Remain Undefeated

CIS No. 3 X-Women came out victorious against Mount Allison this past Friday night defeating the Mounties 3-0. The X-Women are currently undefeated in regular season.    

X-Women’s Alex Normore (00:18), assisted by Janelle Parent and Brittany Perkins, fired a fast one pas the goal line to take an early lead in the first period. Daniela Falconi (6:18) scored X-Women’s second goal. Hansom with the assist.     

In the second Rebecca Traversa (8:56) scored her first goal of the season to extend the X-Women’s lead to 3-0. Assisted by Jenna Pitts and Hansom.     

The third period was scoreless. Final score of the game was StFX 3 Mount Allison 0.    

Final shots on net were 30-17 in favor of StFX. Katie Greenway was awarded the win while Mount Allison’s Meghan Corley-Byrne was tagged with the loss.
