St. John's, NF - The U SPORTS No. 4 ranked STFX X-Men edged the Memorial Sea-Hawks 1-0 Friday night in AUS soccer action in Newfoundland.
A goal by Isaac VanWychen 37 minutes into the game was all the visitors needed for the win. VanWychen deposited a pass from Sam Barrowcliffe.
Sam Diltz was in the STFX net for the shutout victory as he had five saves on the night.
The same two teams will be back in action on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
