Getting to Know...Randy Riberio

X-Men soccer defense Randy Ribeiro is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Randy recently completed his second year with the X-Men and is a Human Kinetics student from Cambridge, ON.

What brought you to StFX?
Getting to see the campus and feeling welcomed by the students on a recruiting trip is what brought me to X

What has been your best moment in a StFX uniform so far?
Scoring my first goal for X playing against PEI

One thing I cannot live without is…?
Definitely my family

If I could have super-hero powers I would…?
Be able to travel back in time

My biggest pet peeve is…?
People that chew with their mouth opened!

My dream vacation destination is…?
To be able to go and watch a World Cup Final!

My dream job is…?
To play professional soccer after graduating

I also played AAA hockey until I was 17
