X-Men defeat Panthers in penalty-filled affair

The StFX X Men won big in their final home game of the regular season, cruising to a 5-1 victory over the visiting UPEI Panthers in a penalty-filled affair at the Charles V. Keating Centre. The U SPORTS no. 4 ranked X-Men scored twice on the powerplay and added in a shorthanded marker for good measure.

Hockey X-Men resume AUS action with 3-2 victory over Axemen

AUS hockey was back on Wolfville Saturday night for the first time since the end of the November. The home team Axemen were unable to capitalize on their early lead in the game and ended up falling 3-2 to the StFX X-Men.

X-Men looking forward to return to action in tough AUS conference

Fans may need to refer to their line-ups early on – considering the STFX X-Men have 15 student-athletes who are donning the White and Blue for the first time this season – but they will be more than familiar with what they see on the ice – a style of play that has helped the program become a perennial contender not only in the conference, but also on the national stage.
