StFX X-Men hockey defenseman Jagger has signed an amateur tryout with the Binghamton Devils of the American Hockey League (AHL), as announced by the club earlier today.
Chase Marchand was named the U SPORTS goaltender of the year Wednesday night, along with being named as a U SPORTS 1st team All-Canadian. Teammate Jagger Dirk was also singled out as a U SPORTS 1st team All-Canadian on defense.
The StFX X-Men received multiple AUS accolades for thier performances on the ice during the 2017-18 season. Goaltender Chase Marchand was named the conference most valuable player and was an AUS first team all-star, while head coach Brad Peddle received the AUS Coach of the Year award. Forwards Micheal Clarke and Holden Cook and defenceman Jagger Dirk will join their head coach Brad Peddle who is also the head coach of the all-star team.
