X-Men best Aigles Bleus 5-2 in final regular season home game

The U SPORTS No. 1 ranked StFX X-Men (22-2-4) bested the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (3-22-2) by a 5-2 score Saturday night at the Charles V. Keating Centre. The crowd of over 500 were treated to a very fast paced and physical 60 minutes of play.

The U SPORTS No. 2 ranked StFX X-Men shut out the visiting Dalhousie Tigers 3-0 on a stormy Wednesday evening at the Charles V. Keating Centre. Despite play being postponed 15 minutes due to the inclement weather affecting the arrival of the games officials, both teams came ready to play a very active 60 minutes of hockey.

Dirk, Cook and Clarke to represent Canada on U SPORTS all-star team

Three X-Men hockey athletes have been selected to the U SPORTS all-star team that will play an upcoming two-game series against the Canadian national junior team. Forwards Micheal Clarke and Holden Cook and defenceman Jagger Dirk will join their head coach Brad Peddle who is also the head coach of the all-star team. Peddle was an assistant coach with the all-star squad last year and Cook will be making his second consecutive appearance on the team.
