X-Men hockey to meet UNB in Subway AUS championship final
The X-Men hockey team will open their Subway AUS Championship best-of-three final series on March 6th at UNB. Game 2 will be hosted at StFX on March 8th at 7:00 pm.
The 2017 Subway AUS Men's Hockey Championship best-of-three final playoff series schedule is as follows:
Championship Series (Best 2-of-3): StFX (3) vs. UNB (1)
Game 1: Monday, Mar. 6 – StFX at UNB, 7 p.m.
Game 2: Wednesday, Mar. 8 – UNB at StFX, 7 p.m.
Game 3: Friday, Mar. 10 – StFX at UNB, 7 p.m.*

A best-of-three consolation final series is being held in order to determine the recipient of the third AUS berth at the 2017 U Sports championship. The schedule will be as follows:
Consolation Series (Best 2-of-3): Saint Mary's (4) vs. Acadia (2)
Game 1: Monday, Mar. 6 – Saint Mary's at Acadia, 7 p.m.
Game 2: Wednesday, Mar. 8 – Acadia at Saint Mary's, 7 p.m.
Game 3: Friday, Mar. 10 – Saint Mary's at Acadia, 7 p.m.*

All games of the AUS championship finals will be broadcast live on Fibe TV (TV1—channels 1 and 401) and webcast at www.AUStv.ca. All games of the consolation final series will be webcast on AUStv.
The 2017 Cavendish Farms U Cup national championship is being hosted by the University of New Brunswick March 16-19 in Fredericton. The Atlantic conference receives three berths in the national championship.
