Getting to Know...Vernon Sainvil

X-Men football offensive lineman Vernon Sainvil is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Vernon recently completed his second year with the X-Men and is an Arts student from Malsen, Massachusetts.

My favorite moment to date as a StFX student-athlete is…?
My first career start when we won against Mt A under the lights, and our playoff comeback win against Acadia.

If I could be Prime Minister for one day I would…?
Remove all the homelessness, create more jobs, up the minimum wage for workers.

My biggest pet peeve is…?
People chewing so loud that you can hear them a mile away, messy house, and no communication between people.

My dream job is…?
Professional athlete, sport agent, Psychologist

One thing I love about StFX is…?
The faculty, my locker room, the athletes, the students, the culture at X and the small town.

Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
Malden, MA is a couple train stops away from downtown Boston. Malden is a great city, some of my best and closest friends are there. My heart lies there, whenever I go home it's all love and joy. My father lives there and my little brother also my good buddies and girls.
