Getting to Know...Ashton Dickson

X-Men football running back Ashton Dickson is the latest athlete featured in our Getting to Know your X-Women and X-Men series throughout the summer. Ashton recently completed his third year with the X-Men and is an Arts student from Ottawa, Ont.

Nickname: No nickname but one of my friends calls me "beans". I do not encourage others to call me that.

My favorite StFX sporting moment to date is…?
2013 Homecoming. Beautiful day, even better a win.

If I could meet any famous person it would be…?
They have to bring 2pac and Malcolm X back to life. I'd also like to meet Jennifer Lawrence from the movie Hunger Games and the Mother of Dragons from Game of Thrones.

My favorite Disney movie or character is…?
Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack Sparrow. Sorry I mean, "Captain" Jack Sparrow.

My biggest pet peeve is…?
Wet Willies. My older cousin used to do those to me all the time. Very, very frustrating.

My dream job is…?
I don't dream about working I dream about being extremely rich and wealthy with no job, but realistically I'm a football player so I'm going to say playing in the NFL. 

My biggest fan is…?
My mom of course :)

Tell us something interesting about your hometown?
Ottawa has the best shawarmas. One of the first things I get when I go back home.
