Bailey, Rajotte and Roseway named football athletes of the week

X-Men wide receiver Devon Bailey was named the StFX Football Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2012. Devon, a third year Arts student from Mississauga, Ont., was the top receiver for both teams in the X-Men’s recent loss to Acadia. He had eight receptions for 94 total yards, and is currently 4th overall in the AUS with 23 on the season, averaging 55.2 reception yards/game.
X-Men football defensive back Hugo Rajotte was named the StFX Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2012. Hugo, a third year Arts student from Markham, Ont. led all tacklers in the X-Men’s recent game, a loss at Acadia. He had seven total tackles, (five solo and four assisted) on the X-Men defensive unit. He is currently 3rd overall in the AUS with 29 total tackles, averaging 6.0/game.
X-Men receiver/returner Randy Roseway was named the StFX Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2012. Randy, a second year Arts student from Ottawa, Ont., scored a touchdown off a 99 yard kickoff return in the first quarter of the X-Men’s recent loss at Acadia. He is currently 3rd in the UAS in kick returns with 9, averaging 29.3 yards/return.
