Bio
Aidan MacDonald joined the STFX Athletics & Advancement Departments in January, 2026. A native of Antigonish, NS, she earned a Bachelor of Arts with an Advanced Major in Economics from STFX University in 2023. She subsequently completed a Master of Arts in Development Economics at Dalhousie University.
While at STFX, MacDonald was a dedicated member of the X-Women Track and Cross Country programs throughout her undergraduate studies. In her final year, she served as team captain, contributing to the program’s Atlantic University Sport (AUS) Championship title in 2022.
Following her competitive career, MacDonald has remained actively engaged with STFX Athletics, volunteering with the Cross Country and Track programs as well as the STFX Track and Field Club.
