X-Men Hockey forward Ryan McGuire was named the STFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 12, 2025. Ryan, a first year Business student from Burlington, Ont. played two strong games for the X-Men this week. In Wednesday’s 3-2 win over Dalhousie in Halifax Ryan scored the third X goal of the night on a penalty shot, sealing the win. In Saturday’s close 3-2 shootout loss to Moncton, he scored the second X goal and earned the game’s second star honours.
