  Bernie Chisholm
  Head Coach
Head Coach Bernie Chisholm has been coaching the StFX cross country team for the past 24 years, plus he has several years of international and national coaching experience. He has been recognized with several honours, including 9 AUS Coach of the Year awards (3 men’s and 6 women’s) and is a member of the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame. Bernie coached at the high school level for 35 years, winning 57 provincial titles. He led the X-Men cross country team to thier first CIS team medal in 2008 as they won silver, and led the X-Women to their first CIS medal, with a CIS bronze in 2007. During Bernie’s time with the StFX cross country program he has had 5 athletes represent Canada in international competitions. 


  Kevin Grant
  Assistant Coach
Kevin joined the StFX cross country program this year as an assistant coach. He has been actively involved in coaching cross country and track & field at the junior high level for the last 20 years, winning numerous NSSAF titles. Kevin is a native of Antigonish an is employed as a teacher with Strait Regional School Board. The StFX cross country prrogram is fortunate to have Kevin join the coaching staff as he brings a wealth of knowledge to the sport.
