Kids in the Crowd

The StFX Athletics Kids in the Crowd program is a partnership between area businesses and the StFX Department of Athletics & Recreational Services. Through a student club membership sponsorship agreement, local businesses invest in Kids in the Crowd memberships. That allows children aged 12 and under to become a member of the club and sit in the exclusive Kids in the Crowd Section during regular season home games. Members will also be privy to meet and greets, autograph sessions and jamborees with the athletes.

How Kids Win
Businesses purchase memberships through a program designed to reach all kids in the community. The opportunity exists for local businesses -- small, medium or large -- to connect with children on a unique level and share in the rewards of putting a smile on a child's face when they receive their membership.

Becoming a Kids in the Crowd member gives kids an avenue to learn about healthy, active living and an opportunity to watch role models who live in their community. Children watch their favourite athletes and dream of someday going to university themselves and being involved in the university, perhaps as an athlete. This fosters important development in children to become positive role models in the community.

More importantly it gives kids the sense of being a part of a team, and a larger family -- the Xaverian family.

How Businesses Win
Local businesses can decide on their own how they want to market and give out the Kids in the Crowd Memberships to local kids. Once the plan is selected, businesses take ownership of the memberships and enjoy the beginnings of a wonderful program that includes the children of our community. 

Program Options

OPTION A is the 20 game fixed plan:
The program is a 20-game plan featuring:
5 X-Men Hockey games
5 X-Basketball games
3 X-Women Hockey games
3 X-Women Volleyball games
2 X-Men Football games
1 StFX Soccer game
1 X-Women Rugby game

Investment for Business has three levels to choose from:
Gold Plan:  51+ memberships purchased
Silver Plan:  26-50 memberships purchased
Bronze Plan:  10-25 memberships purchased

OPTION B is a variety plan:
Like making your own sundae, you are the boss and you can create your own Varsity Sports Package for kids. You pick the Varsity Sports. Minimum 20 sporting events and Bronze Plan Kids in the Crowd Membership must be purchased.

Sponsorship Benefits will also include:
   * Gold level sponsors receive 2 free tickets for 14 games of their choice
   * Silver level sponsors receive 2 free tickets for 7 games of their choice
   * Bronze level sponsors receive 2 free tickets for 3 games of their choice
   * Direct web link from dedicated page of www.goxgo.ca website to sponsors' website
   * P.A. Thank You announcements at selected games
   * Sponsor Company's name on Kids in the Crowd Club Membership Cards
   * Sponsors promo on back of all Membership Cards with information of your choice
   * The Hawk 101.5 daily radio spots with your business identification in promo as proud sponsor
   * The joy and satisfaction of making a child happy and part of a team
   * Option to sit in the Kids in the Crowd section
