Tee it up for X Athletics

The organizing committee of the 19th annual Father Kehoe Golf Classic, presented by the X Varsity Club, wishes to extend an invitation for golfers of all ages to participate in this special event. The annual Kehoe Golf tournament is more than another fundraising event. It has become a special tradition for our alumni and it is an important part of the university’s efforts at maintaining a tradition of excellence in varsity athletics. 100% of the proceeds raised goes directly to supporting StFX’s varsity athletic teams as well as preserving the legacy of Fr. George Kehoe.

This year’s tournament will take place at the Antigonish Golf & Country Club on Friday, July 23, 2010. All teams must pre-register by Monday, July 5, 2010, and registration forms must be accompanied with full team payment. The registration cost for the tournament is $650/team. Registration includes green fees, one golf cart/team, Adidas dri-fit golf shirt and player package, along with the Thursday evening reception & hip-of-beef dinner, silent and live auctions, door prizes, team prizes, prize holes and contests, refreshments and food on course and more! We are excited to have Labatt's, Pepsi and Sobeys on board this summer as major sponsors of the Father Kehoe Golf Classic.

For golfers requiring accommodations on StFX campus for Thursday evening, please contact the StFX Conference Services Department at 877-STAY-AT-X (877-782-9289) or

The shot-gun start for the tournament will take place at 7:30am on Friday, July 23 at the Antigonish Golf & Country Club. After the golfing is complete, there will be a post-tournament reception at the golf course where the tournament prizes will be handed out, along with the various contest prizes and team door prizes.
